The front display surface is covered with bright lustrous silver Pyrolusite crystals that have pseudomorphed manganite crystals. This piece has excellent coverage and minimal damage, and is one of the better pieces I have left. It was collected by Glyn Francis in the 1980's and comes with one of his original labels. The Iron Prince pit is mined out and is backfilled with tailings from recent mining activities, meaning there is no hope at all of any more specimens coming from this pit. Excellent speciman from an old find.
