A very aesthetic speciman of goethite from the iron princess mine. Mined prior to mine closure in 1997 . Surprisingly very little damage to the speciman considering the free standing stalactites. Very few of these specimans survived the blasting , digging and trucking of the ore. A bit of a pity because this is a quite attractive speciman of goethite. Pit now closed and mined out.
