Quite a large speciman of fossil shells from coober pedy in south australia. Most specimans of this type are not normally this big or have as many shells in them, These are cretaceous in age and are approximately 100 million years old, from when the central area of australia was covered by an inland sea. Quite heavy at three kilos, but an above average speciman from here.
