Size  10cm x 9cm
A larger speciman of aragonite crystals growing in a deep cavity. The cavity actually just opens on the backside of the speciman. The aragonite crystals are approx 5-6 mm long growing from a base of massive aragonite. This style of aragonite formed long vertical tubes down through the orebody, lined with these crystals, sometimes up to 1-2 metres high. Blasting didn't help preserve these tubes though and only partial pieces were recovered. One of the larger nicer aragonites that I have left. A bit heavier than other specimans but a bigger and nicer piece.
