Sprays of needly aragonite crystals sitting on a cavity lining of calcite crystals combine to make a showy speciman. Aragonite is a little more yellow in the photos than the actual speciman is. These specimens where the aragonite occurs as scattered sprays on the white calcite were the best specimens in my opinion, but there were not that many of them unfortunately. larger than average speciman. Mine closed and filled with waste rock. One of my better specimans left.
