Miniture sized speciman of drusy quartz crystals over a 5 mm thick band of goethite, with very minor pyrolusite present as well. This was found on the lowest bench in the small Iron Wizard Opencut, with the pyrolusite crystals. The orebody in this area was enriched with manganese and contained small pyrolusite after manganite crystals in small cavities. Goethite, Quartz and Dolomite were also found in this area, associated with the pyrolusite, although these minerals were not at all common. This is one of the few quartz specimans collected from this zone.
