Quite a large piece of feldspar and quartz matrix hosting large sheets of muscovite, or more commonly called mica. Muscovite is one of those minerals that is quite often overlooked and not appreciated. This was collected some years ago at one of the many pegmatites in this area. This is a classic speciman of a pegmatite, showing feldspar, quartz and muscovite.
