A matt black coating of the unusual cobalt mineral Heterogenite, this mineral commonly occurs as small patches of black colour associated with other minerals, not so common are better coverage specimans like this. Heterogenite specimans are mostly not that attractive, good speciman for species collectors. Back of speciman has been cut to rid excess waste rock.
