Nice miniture sized speciman of goethite ,showing some botryoidal growth. with a orange-brown iridescant coating over the surface. These were found at the base of a bench at the bottom of the little baron pit, during the last few months of mining, about 6 years ago. Most pieces were smaller than this and very few if any were any larger. When mining in this pit finished and the pumps switched off, I think the water level would be over this area.
