Two fossil leptopus dupontii weevil cocoons from the classic location of elliston in south australia. These are found in the sandy areas associated with the limestone cliffs in this area. The best of these fossils are hollow and have a circular hole on one end, while many are solid with no hole and just look like a lump of limestone. I have never found or heard of any one finding one with the remains of anything inside. The solid ones are full of sand or limestone.
