Miniture sized speciman of Fluor-apatite in hematite ore. The apatite crystals are very well formed clear hexagonal barrel shaped, and line a small cavity. Photos didn't work out, but the apatites appear as sparkling crystals in the cavity. cavity is about 20 mm x 10mm. Apatite crystals were found in a few different areas in the pit, but these style of crystals were restricted to one area, and cavities were all small like this one. Very few specimans seemed to have been collected, as I've only ever seen a handfull in all my years of collecting.
