Larger speciman of massive red dolomite with a seam of cream coloured dolomite running through it. The cream coloured seam hosts cavities that are lined with small crystals of creamy coloured dolomite. These came out in the mid 1980's when this pit was being mined for flux for the steelworks at whyalla. Not as big as the dolomite crystals from Iron Duke, but one of the very few specimans left from this pit. Iron Prince closed in the early 90's and was backfilled with mill tailings during recent mining operations.
