Size 6cm x 4cm

Light brownish yellow circles of strengite and cyrilovite, contrast nicely against a dark brown background of goethite. These are clusters of strengite crystals that are altering to cyrilovite and have been covered with a light brown coating of goethite. The fracture in the rock was too narrow and rather than full spheres of crystals these are flattened almost sprays of altered crystals. The lighting in the photos shows the circles more yellow than they are.
