Size 4cm x 4cm

Bright black/silvery bladed hematite crystals cover the display surface of this speciman. Just visible in the centre front, is a small patch of white crandallite coating the hematite crystals. Under magnification the hematite crystals are very lustrous and some have been coated with white crandallite. This same association is on the back of the speciman as well. Unfortunately shiny crystals like hematite and pyrolusite do not photograph very well and are extremely difficult to get decent photos. This speciman is way better in person.
