The calcite specimans from here were often white crystals on a darker background and made showy specimens because of the great contrast in colours. This one is no exeption. Bright white crystals line open voids all through this rock, the last photo shows the back of the speciman and it has just as much calcite as the front. Displays nicely. A rich speciman from almost 30 years ago and no longer available from this closed mine. Hard to find these today.
