A large cabinet speciman of massive bornite showing its typical purplish golden colour. The photo does not show the colour real well. It is a lot more shiny and lustrous, and quite bright. Bornite tarnishes to this colour on exposure to air, giving it a nice bright colour. Old piece from an old collection we bought. The only piece I have left this size. A good speciman of bornite.
