Beryl Crystal, Triple Chance Mine, Broken Hill, NSW
SKU: 422
Size 5cm x 5cm
A yellowish green beryl crystal exposed and contrasting nicely on feldspar and quartz matrix. The beryl crystal is nearly 30 mm long and 8 mm across. The second photo shows a little muscovite on the back of the speciman. The base of the speciman has been cut with a saw, to get rid of excess rock and to make it display better. The cut is not visible from the front of the speciman. From the famous triple chance mine originally run by the late Tess Alfonso. Mine closed , so no chance of new specimans.
